About ANMag
April 25th, 2008ANMag is a monthly online magazine focusing on issues of public concern and global awareness throughout the Middle East, and across the world.
Who are We?
“We are a group of young people who have joined their forces in order to create an expression tool that would help us communicate our thoughts, concerns, beliefs and knowledge to a wider range of fellow readers.
We are as diversified as our Lebanon.
The Team of ANMag is a cluster of the various political, religious, social and regional segments of our society. ANMag is a non-political and non-religious magazine.
We respect and accept all others’ differences -whether political, intellectual or social. Our aim is to grow intellectually beyond our potential through ANMag’s emerging community.
We do not intend in any way to compete with any other magazine. We are not in the business of mediocre news-making.
We entice the reader to learn more about up-to-date issues touching upon our daily lives by using an informal, accessible and sometimes fun approach.”
Our Mission, Vision and Values Statements
ANMiS:
Our Mission is to promote public concern* in Lebanon and the Arab world in order to support the development of both of these entities; supply a new genre of magazine offering the readers the opportunity to publish their contributions and thus express themselves to the public without any attachments; and provide a means of constant cooperation between the Full Members and the readers in support of the attainment of these goals.
ANViS:
We endorse the progress of the social order whilst promoting awareness (EPSOPA).
ANVaS:
In the pursuit of the fulfillment of our mission (ANMiS) and vision statements (ANViS), WE, the Team Members of ANMag, take pride in our devotion to valuing democracy, diversity and, most of all, freedom of expression. We recognize the need for our social responsibilities and dedicate ourselves to cultivating a positive and innovative approach in the search of fair justice. Furthermore, we acknowledge the continuous evolution and work on the flexibility of the ever-changing needs of our community and the environment.
